When it comes to video game movies, the majority of them are either awful, or classified as crimes against humanity. Every couple of years though, a film based on a game comes out, and it proves to be enjoyable, and won’t induce an urge for you to pur salt in your eyes.
Cult-hit Nintendo game Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is busy wrapping up development, and the film looks dedicated, as well as a teensy bit crazy. The Japanese production is going all out to capture the look and feel of the court-room crime-solving game, and the characters look like they were ripped straight out of the game.
Some footage for the film has surfaced, which you can view after the jump. Warning: It’s very Japanese.
