2016’S DOOM is one of the greatest first-person shooters ever made. A rip-roaring masterpiece of blood, guts and bullets that was merciless in its execution of anything with a pulse. Fast, fluid and brutal, DOOM ended on one hell of a cliffhanger by the time its bloody end credits rolled around. Of course a sequel had to follow . Of course it had to.
Which is exactly what we’re seeing in DOOM: Eternal as Bethesda descried a game starring an “even more powerful” Doomslayer in action, double the number of demons and a very literal hell on Earth. Here’s a look at DOOM: Eternal in pure cinematic mode.
When will it be shown off properly? According to Bethesda, this August at QuakeCon. Somebody get me my hype shotgun.

Who doesn’t want to shoot more demons in the face! I don’t know how they can improve on the 2016 DOOM! More blood, more demons, and more guns doesn’t exactly scream ‘play me’ for myself!

Seems like it might follow the story of Doom 2 ‘loosely’ judging by the double barrel shotgun. And more demons, more guns, more blood and more levels are always a good reason to play a game as long as it’s as good as the first or better.
