E3 2016 – Resident Evil 7 out January 2017, includes full VR experience

Virtual Reality may just be the worst way to experience Resident Evil. And that’s because I am a massive wimp who is in no way whatsoever prepared for a more first-person survival-horror experience. So of course that’s what Capcom is doing, as Resident Evil 7 was officially confirmed a the Sony E3 press conference. Not only is it looking downright terrifying and a proper dive back into tradition Resident Evil mechanics, but it’s also going to feature full virtual reality functionality, from beginning to end:

Even better? A demo for Resident Evil 7 is available right now, way ahead of the game’s planned January release in 2017. I’m not brave enough to handle this at all.
