The one thing I do love about any gaming expo’s is the lengths that gaming companies will go to to grab your attention so that you will eyeball their upcoming titles.
Normally this revolves around flashy signs, huge TV’s and bodacious booth babes. However EA are going with a different tactic at this years rAge, they are getting some muscle bound half naked men, throwing them in a cage together and letting them beat the snot out of each other.
Sound like fun? Well then be sure to head on down to rAge this weekend to watch a grand total of 12 MMA fights that will be held over the weekend.
These will be real MMA matches with a MC, referee and 3 judges per match which means nothing to me but is obviously important as it was in the PR.
But the real reason why EA are forcing men to smash each other in the face is because they want you to look at the games they are going to be bringing out which are.

- Sims 3 Console
- Need For Speed Hot Pursuit
- Dead Space 2
- Dragon Age 2
- FIFA 11
I’m personally really excited about MoH, Need for Speed and FIFA 11 but the aforementioned violence may get me to check out MMA at the same time.
