EA Kicks Off Their e3 Conference: Battlefront Development Shown Briefly

36 second read

Remember that few second Star Wars Battlefront trailer we were shown last year? It was just that little snippet that got the world excited. This year, EA show off a small portion of the development behind the game.

It shows how the development team are trying to stick as close to Star Wars and make it as authentically as possible, even visiting locations where the films were shot. The biggest showing for me
was the tiny glimpse of the new engine. It looks absolutely amazing!

No further details or gameplay was shown, but lets hope this game lives up to the hype it is generating.

  1. OK I will go first…the 3-4 sec of gameplay didn’t show much! Personally I don’t get the whole SW Battlefront hype. Franchise is fine; but deserving of the anticipation? To each their own I suppose – hey I love Halo so who am I to say!!!

hype came from the alpha that was shown over a year ago, befor lucasarts got sold off, showed some seriously heavy visuals and gameplay.
what we do see is pretty promising though, that little scene where you see them flying the snowspeeders looks ice cold.

the previous games werent really that great, and havent aged well at all, playing them now is like chopping your own hand off with a blunt axe.
