EA Sports favouring the PS3

Peter Moore

Well it seems like things are being shaken up over at EA Sports by the ex-head of the Xbox 360 department, Peter Moore.

Previously EA Sports quite blatantly favoured the Xbox 360 with the games easily performing better on the Microsoft hardware and the PS3 versions being shoddy ports.. however that seems to be changing.

The upcoming Madden 2009 Press Conference is going to be displaying the game exclusively on PlayStation hardware, much like the previous NCAA Football press conference.

So it will be interesting to see which version of Madden, which is idiotically popular in America, will be the winner this year. If the PS3 version out performs the 360 version it will be a huge blow for Microsoft in their home country…

I wonder if Peter left Microsoft on worse terms than previously stated….
