I can see this title doing fantastically well at the video stores and rental shops, but honestly it does make you think that Microsoft should step in and make them fix this. It’s ludicrous that it can be so easy and really does devalue the entire game.

wow… need to get that game, got some gamers hot on my tail and I’ve almost taken Drifts score 🙂
but on a more serious note, I’ve always wondered how developers gauge their achievements in my mind Achievements were things not easily achievable (i.e. veteran on (any) Call of Duty)
and then there have been acheivements that give you no points e.g. DOA4 “loosing 20 times in a row in an online match” (yes that’s first hand experience) thanks Durayel
but achievements that really got to me were the ranked achievements purely because it is almost impossible for most of us to play an online ranked match.
this is where COD4 has shined for me as none of their achievements are online ranked, as I recall, I’ll have to check but I’m pretty sure they aint.

I’m really surprised MS allowed this. 1000 for not even completing the game seems wrong. I mean, fair enough there are your GSW titles, but those are just games that are easy that’ll give you 1000 points for completion.
After the whole debacle about not allowing Orange Box to ship with more than 1000 points (Valve wanted to have 3000 up for grabs), you’d think they’d have been stricter.
Oh well, if my local rental store has this, i’ll definitely pick it up. Who knows? THe game might actually be fun 🙂

It’s a kids title, and the achievement titles sound like you’re actually supposed to build up skill to achieve them.
Some GSW developer is having a fat giggle right now 😉
