Epic Mickey Opening Cinematic is well…Epic.

Yesterday I rambled on a bit about how core games don’t make their way to the Wii too often, but when they do, they’re incredible. I figured that Team Ninja’s might be the game to get recalcitrant Wii owners dusting off their consoles.

This is another. After the jump you’ll find the opening cinematic (Mild Spoilers) for Warren Spector’s Epic Mickey. If a game featuring Disney’s circular-eared murine mascot just isn’t hardcore enough for you consider Spector’s legacy : Wing Commander, Ultima, System Shock, Thief and Deus Ex. Epic Mickey has soldiered its way to the top of my most anticipated games for year. Let’s hope it does well – because Spector’s indicated an interest in doing a game based on DuckTales.
