Hooray for gaming and Boo for our poor wallets.

Bethesda have announced that Fallout 3 is set to hit the shelves in October! According to Bethesda the launch of the game is going to be quite a spectacle, saying that:

“To meet the huge demand for this title by our fans worldwide, we are planning one of the biggest launches of any game released this year.”

Fallout 3 will be available for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and with the current bits of the game that we have seen already, it looks like it’s going to be a pretty amazing experience. There is quite a gaming draught at the moment but fear not, because in not very long, we are going to have way too many new titles to choose from.

Couldn’t they spread these things out any better? It really sucks to have nothing to play and then so many titles that you can’t afford the time or money for all of them all at once. One thing is for sure though, this is going to be a great year for gaming.

Not at all. I think you have very wrong, sir. They’ll both sell well – Fallout 3 possibly more than LBP in the beginning because of the three platforms – initially and I think one of them will have more legs than the other…

    We’ll see.
