This whole fan-made film thing is gaining a lot of momentum. It’s great, even though more often than not they’re a little bit lame. Occasionally you get some really good ones, like the Fallout fan film or the Half-life 2 one that Nick posted a while ago.
This Killzone fan film is called Killzone Extraction. It is definitely not lame. It has everything you’d want to see in a Killzone short: guns, Helghast eyes, blood and lots of things blowing up. If this is the kind of thing that fans can put together themselves on a limited budget, would somebody please explain to me why big movie directors continually stuff up game-to-film adaptations? Hey! David O. Russel! Pay attention.
