Final Fantasty XIV Open Beta Goes Live Tomorrow

The Final Fantasy XIV open beta will be going live tomorrow which means that you can get a chance to play it before release.

Square tweeted the details earlier saying:

“The FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test begins on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 2:00 (GMT)! We hope to see everyone participate!”

The open client is fairly large, with the latest patch apparently weighing in at around 1.2 GB’s and can be downloaded by clicking and applying on this page right here.

The game releases officially releases at the end of September with buyers of the collector’s edition getting to play earlier on September 22. The Playstation 3 version will be released in March 2011.
