Forza Motorsport 3 has been out for quite some time now and fans already enjoyed the addition of the Hot Holiday Car Pack that was released at the end of last year and added some great additions to gamer’s garages such as the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Nissan GT-R.

In keeping with their plan of releasing tons of DLC for Forza Motorsport 3, Turn 10 have released their second DLC pack today over Xbox Live called the Autoweek Car Show Pack.

The pack consists of ten new vehicles to take for a spin and clocks in at an acceptable price of 400 MS points. Hit the jump to see what cars are included in the pack.

Here’s the list:

  1. 2009 Audi RS 6
  2. 2010 Ford Shelby GT500
  3. 2009 Lotus 2-Eleven
  4. 2010 Aston Martin One-77
  5. 2010 Porsche Boxster S
  6. 2009 Audi R8 LMS Show Car
  7. 2010 Pagani Zonda R
  8. 2010 Saleen S5S Raptor
  9. 2010 BMW Motorsport M6 Coupe
  10. 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

Looking good. Anyone still playing a ton of Forza 3? I’m still happily making my way through the career mode where I can.

Brilliant list of cars, no ‘throwaways’

Such bullshit because i know i will never be able to download this, or any of they car packs for that matter for my Forza 3.

Can’t they just sell these DLC car packs on disks and upload onto the hard drive.

      I know what you mean.
I hate having certain content only being online.

At my other house theres no internet access at all (almost no cell reption as well) so getting updates and DLC is just not happening.

I wish there was someway (like dash updates) to get DLC and game updates as well

Because It costs MS points witch i can’t buy and it’s too expensive and big too download even though I have Adsl.

plus with those massive sized updates I can’t get on xbox live without updating and using up most of my cap.

Microsoft should realize that we don’t all have internet privileges like the Yanks in the U.S of A that goes with Playstaion as well.

Move to somewhere with basic telecommunication infra-structure. I’m in Australia, a 100 meg file is about 5 minutes download, unless you’re with Singtel / Optus then it’s three days because they’re rubbish.

Yes, it is really that hard. It costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, just because some people are a little behind the times with technology; then not only do YOU have to pay more, but we ALL have to pay more for the losses of unsold DVD’s that they’ve wasted all because you lazy twats can’t get a proper ISP. Stfu and stop your whining.

I found that of the ten cars only two were attractive or usable. I honestly don’t understand what Turn 10 were thinking with some of those inclusions, there’s some really uninspired vehicles in there, a few are 2009 models which defeats the purpose of a ‘content update’ of sorts, and the specs of most of the cars make all but two of them ‘throw aways’ contrary to the first comment poster.

For a full read out of the specs, and pros and cons on each vehicle, I decided to break it down on my blog. Originally the post started upbeat, I was excited, and realised I should type up the figures first and look at the designs of the vehicles. Progressively my excitement was lost. Downside is though, most people have rated this content patch while still happy and excited, so it has an overinflated rating. There is nothing truly special in this pack aside from the Astin Martin One-77 and the Saleen remake of the Audi R8 in a more lambo style body. That’s 2/10, so I voted 1/5.

Without REALISTIC HONEST FEEDBACK people, we’re just going to get more and more throwaways in our DLC’s, it was NOT worth the 400 MS points just for two cars.

Read the breakdown of each vehicle here: http://bashpr0mpt.com/2010/01/23/review-of-show-car-dlc-for-forza/ or click the ‘website’ link in my post. Please comment if you disagree, or have found a good spec for one of them.
