Finally I tracked down the GameTrailers best of show video for E3 this year.
Unfortunately for discussion purposes they chose a cross platform game as their best of show but at least the PS3 and 360 both had good showings.
So now according to most of the major websites we don’t have a clear winner from E3 this year.
But one thing that has become apparent is that Killzone 2 isn’t going to be the killer title they promised it would be.
I don’t think a single site voted Killzone 2 as one of the better titles.

Killzone got ‘best graphics in a game’ from gametrailers…
But, being only out next year… that might change. 🙁

How do you deduce that?

Same logic he used to determine that Alone in the Dark is gonna be GoTY.

Yea I also gotta disagree, K2 def has the best graphics yet seen on any console and from what I have seen and read of the gameplay, it sounds well ace!

It does look d@mn good, but it does look like the peeps present have been woo’d by Resistance 2. It’s hard to tell from the vids we see on-line. Either the people at E3 were more impressed by RFOM2, or there’s just more hype because it’ll be out sooner.

Because for the past 2 E3’s everyone has been left feeling that Killzone was going to break new boundaries and really show off how great it can be.
However after this one virtually no sites have said much about Killzone 2. It appears that the hype was just that.

Ah! So if there is none to little hype it equals crap game. Got it.

Ouch! Well to be fair, those ‘real world’ physics they showed impressed me, of course the game came out and to put it blunt, what a crock of crap! After I completed it (500 reasons why), I took out the cover art and put the dvd box, right next to dungeon lords. At least the darkest corner in my room has some balance now.
The question is, do you still see AITD as GOTY?
