Gears dolls coming to a store near you

53 second read

imageThe official Gears of War action figures have now been released, overseas at least.

We are going to be treated to a grumpy Marcus some over the top scary locusts, our favourite enemy, General Raam.

And the all time best character in Gears of War… The Cole Train.

Honestly I have never got into this action figure, doll, thing but I may be tempted to import a Cole Train one.

I was playing gears the other night and while I was sitting on the side, after being killed for the millionth time, I saw Cole hop over a barrier, woop like a fool and blow everything up.

Those few moments defined for me the brilliance of Gears of War.

It’s over the top macho killing fest is just way to addictive to leave alone.

I am now getting more excited for Gears 2 since I started playing Gears again.

    I’m getting one, or two or even the whole load. This game needs to be immortalised. I would love a Theron Guard with torque bow in hand.

    If I’m not mistaken, there is also a action figure of a Locust who’s head has been blown off. “In-action” action figure, blood flying everywhere 🙂

    [re=11309]Naudran[/re]: Yes it exists! 😀

    I hope they bundle these action figures with Gears 2.

    yeah, our local comic shops will definitely bring ’em in.

    Lazy, you’re in JHB right ? Take a drive to Brightwater Commons. You’ve got AWX and Pop Art comics. Both bring in the figurines or will be able to order it for you.

    [re=11321]Milesh Bhana[/re]: Yeah I go there quite often actually.

    I was meant to give them a link in this article but I forgot and kold was kind enough to do it for me 🙂
