Saints Row IV is releasing on 20 August, so less than two weeks from now. But, you don’t have to wait to build your character – you can already start designing!
The Saints Row IV: Inauguration Station is already available, letting you build your character ahead of actual launch. Once designed, you can upload your characters to play with them when Saints Row IV becomes available. Also nice, you can download your Saints Row: The Third characters and update them for this new iteration in the franchise, or you can browse shared community characters. Fun and games.

I messed around with the last character creator. After a couple of hours making characters for a game I wasn’t going to buy I reminded myself I should be killing stuff, not having fun.

I did something similar with APB – I spent about an hour crafting my avatar, but only about 15 minutes playing the game before I learned that the reputation for griefing was well deserved.
