God of War III not coming in 2009?

2 min read

In May of this year, we posted an article that said that Amazon.com has God of War III listed with a March 2009 release date. Problem is that a bit of information may have been leaking in the form of a listing on the internet movie database (IMDB) website.

Since the announcement of God of War III, no official mention has yet been made of when games can expect to actually be playing it.

A slip on IMDB may however, have more of answer for us than Sony does. On the page of Terence (T.C) Carson, the voice actor for Kratos, a new project has been added.

Yup, you guessed it, God of War III. Now as is always standard practice on IMDB, the year of the game, TV show or movie title is always put in brackets next to the project.

According to the information on IMDB, the title is set for 2010 and is “in production”. If the information is correct then it looks like we may have to wait for more than a year to be able to go on Kratos’s next adventure.

The only thing we can hope for is that the game could be set for a March/April release but we all know that publishers like to aim for the Christmas season and if that is true, the wait for God of War III could possibly still be another 2 years from now.
