A rumour started this morning that the Grand Theft Auto Special Edition will only be available in South Africa on PS3 and not on Xbox 360.
This didn’t quite sound right so I checked with Megarom and the rumour is untrue. The 360 Special Edition will be released locally and includes all the things you see in the image above (The PS3 version is identical, apart from the game box itself and is also being released)
However the numbers are severely limited so if you want one then make sure you pre-order as soon as you see it becoming available.
GTA IV gets released on the 29th of April nationwide…. I can’t wait.

Never again will I fall for a limited edition game, all I end up caring about is the game itself 😉

Do you know where they’re taking pre-orders for the special edition? I can see on BT Games you can pre-order by the price convinces me it’s just the game. I’m particularly interesting in the music CD

The one at BT Games could be right and they are just using that price as a placeholder really.
