GTA V has more Rockstar DNA

We showed you last week how GTA V seemed to borrow a few elements from Max Payne 3; specifically its sublime shooting mechanics. It seems that it’ll have a little more Rockstar DNA in it, as showcased in this video by FunwithGuru that shows certain similarities to Midnight Club, Manhunt and Red Dead redemption – and also features terrible, terrible music.

It’s got a bit more of a Manunt-styled Minimap, Red Dead’s Weapon Wheel, Max Payne’s shooting and Midnight clubs driving.  Now all GTA V needs is some decent melee combat and GTA III: San Andreas’ sense of fun, and we may end up with the best game of the generation.
