Guitar Hero: World Tour – more expensive that Rockband

1 min read

According to pricing seen overseas at Gamestop, the new Guitar Hero: World Tour looks like it is going to be priced higher than Rockband. It’s looking to hit the United States at $189.00, which is $20 more than the Rockband special bundle, but this is only for the 360, PS3 and Wii with the PS2 version coming in at $10 cheaper.

This is bad news for South Africans as Rockband is already looking to arrive here at R2,500.00 so we could seriously be looking at a R3000.00 + price tag on the game here, which is getting ridiculous. This game is looking really great and a lot of fun, especially with the recording function, but I can’t see many people spending “console” money on a game, even with all of it’s instruments and features.

Let’s all hold thumbs that this game comes in at a decent price.
