HALO 3: ODST – Only 3 hours long?

2 min read

Gamer.tm has posted up their first impressions of the upcoming Halo 3: ODST and it sounds interesting… not sure if it sounds good but it sounds interesting none the less.

First lets get the bad out of the way, apparently everyone already knows that Halo 3: ODST is only going to be between 3-5 hours long in the multiplayer section which seems incredibly short to me.

However it seems the multiplayer is simply going to carry on from the standard Halo 3 multiplayer by recreating a similar experience and by using the Halo 3 maps that are part of the already released Mythic Map Pack that was shipped with Halo Wars… along with adding new maps.

Are there any other games at the moment that share assets between each other like this?

Oh and seriously can anyone match Microsoft’s marketing sneakiness when it comes to Halo? Now there is even more reason to buy Halo Wars because you don’t want to be left wanting when ODST finally crashes down to earth.
