Playstation

The PlayStation brand is 15 years old. Can you believe it? I’ll have to admit that that makes me feel quite old; I managed to get my hands on a Japanese PS1 before it was available locally, so I’ve been there since the beginning.

To celebrate, Sony have a released a pair of extensive infographics, filled to the brim with things you didn’t know, or previously cared to know about PlayStation and those who play. The first offers completely pointless, yet interesting information, while the second is a timeline of all things Playstation – which once again makes me feel really old. For the record? My gaming snack of choice would be pretzels. They’re delicious – and not oily so they leave no residue on my controllers. they also go really well with beer – which just happens to be my gaming beverage of choice.

Happy belated 15th birthday Playstation! 3 more and you’ll be old enough to play GTA4. You gave me many hours of bliss, and probably kept me sane and… Happy Birthday to the Dreamcast too.

Yeah, too many good memories thanks to the Playstation. From Abes Oddysey and Tekken, to God of War, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear and more.

Now I’m feeling all nostalgic. :cwy:

Abe’s Odyssey and Metal Gear Solid is free on PSN Plus. It brought back so many memories for me as well. Still holds up pretty well too this day.
