Hitman: Subtitle, placeholder or considered title?

1 min read

In my attempt to find gaming news this morning that isn’t related to the PSN’s resurrection I came across a story on Kotaku showing three possible cover options for a game entitled Hitman: Subtitle.

Now according to Owen from Kotaku these screens came from some early market research before IO Interactive decided to call the game Hitman: Absolution.

Personally I don’t think they ever intended on calling it Hitman: Subtitle and rather just used the word as a placeholder for where the subtitle would go.

Thoughts? Feelings? Or would you rather just read more about Hitman? Like how his tattoo is a secret clue to his sex life?

Oh I preferred the last one.
