Last night was supposed to be perfect. Myself, Gavin, Geoff and our pals Flameboy and Muppet-Strangler (The less said, the better), were all prepared to take on and beat the Gears of War 3 horde mode. And we were blazing through those stages last night, giving the locust armies what for and a chainsaw to the face.
And then, disaster struck. After a particularly brutal wave of enemies in level 36, around three of us were dead.No biggie right? We could just buy our way back in or respawn for the wave. Except that we couldn’t. We’d been glitch-slapped, and needless to say, our team was done when there were only two guys left to fight on. So thanks a lot Epic, we came so close, and yet some strange in game bug stole our glory away from us.
At least we’ve got a Homegrown Hottie to comfort us, thanks to LW Magazine, in the form of Laura-Jane Nel. Originally from the UK, this Joburg based girl loves dancing, strawberries and has a self-professed mischievous side to her.
In Other News: We wonder if Zombies can sell virtually anything, what comes next in the DC Universe, and look at some tasty slime.
Here’s the news we didn’t post, because we were going to march on to Epic Headquarters and ask, nay, demand that they give us the Xbox achievement for clearing Horde mode.
