Cartoon indie zoe

I’ve been away for the past week. You might not have noticed that I wasn’t in the country because I was still posting news even while I was away – that’s right, I’m officially not as lazy as the rest of the crew. Also, I had more spare time on my trip. But here’s some cool indie news for the week.

First, my favorite news of the week. Dead Run has released on iOS! Go play it, go buy it, go enjoy. Made by local developers, it’s a bunch of frustrating fun that will get you addicted far too quickly. Just check out the launch trailer:

I will be reviewing the game soon, but it’s worth it for you to just go buy the game already.

Remember that game, Hatred? It’s all about killing all the things and the developers were completely unapologetic for it? Well, now another company is making a game that’s the complete opposite. Just check out this announcement trailer:

Papers, Please – one of my favorite games of last year is making a comeback, this time on apple devices. Nudity had to be removed for the certification process but the game will be coming to your favorite iOS device very very soon:

Instead of a prototype of the week, I’m just going to tell you to go play those other awesome iOS games if you have the required device. They’re really cool and polished and awesome. Besides, I’m sure (like me) you’re all just waiting for the Steam Holiday sale to pick up a whole bunch of cheap indie (and maybe AAA) games. What’s on your wishlist?

I don’t know Never Alone, Planet Explorers or That’s All but since they’re in the same list with Transistor and This War of Mine I’ll assume they come recommended.

haha “That’s all” was a joke. Planet Explorers isn’t for everyone I’d say (But I love that vibe; Minecraft-esque) – but Never Alone looks to be a beautiful work of art. Really excited for that.

Yeah I realised That’s All was a joke when I couldn’t find it on Steam, but I found Planet Explorers.

Now I want Ice Cream. 🙁

Good thing Avoman hasn’t been around lately – I get to think about ice cream without some creepy shit going on.

The last 10 minutes or so when I was eating that is probably all you should consider. 😉

    That FPL trailer…
Now that is a game that will get an 18+ age rating for a completely different reason.
