A group going by the name of LulzSec who had previously claimed responsibility for certain Sony hacks are now claiming that they are back inside the Sony network and are downloading private data and Sony doesn’t appear to realise it.
A tweet from @LulzSec had the following to say
Hey @Sony, you know we’re making off with a bunch of your internal stuff right now and you haven’t even noticed? Slow and steady, guys.
Whether or not they can be believed is another thing entirely, their general tweet feed reads like the mindless ramblings of a pre-hormonal teenager but at the same time it does look like they know something about what they are doing so they could well be attacking Sony again.
In their defence they have said that they have never attacked the Sony Gaming departments and seem to prefer to attack the Music side of Sony thanks to some delusional feelings that that’s better than gaming, or something.
Hopefully it’s a play for publicity but if not then hopefully Sony catches them soon enough and we can all get back to normality again.
