NPD, the American chart-tracking gurus have released last month’s sales data – and with it we can finally put an end to the very serious, and very real war between the two free-roaming super-charged action hero games. Having sold 227200 more copies on just one platform than its mortal enemy, Prototype has proven that it is indeed the better game, no matter what anybody says. Being the number one seller in June also makes it automatically better than every other game on the list. That where given the choice, PS3 owners would rather pick up inFamous is inconsequential, on account of because I said so.
Important videogame politics aside, June is also the first month since its release 29 months ago that Wii Play – the awful set of mini-games bundled with a Wiimote – is not in the top ten. This, I feel, warrants a celebratory dance of some sort.
Demonstrative of the fact that 360 gamers are a demented group of blood-thirsty sociopaths, all four of the Xbox 360 games in the top ten feature either mass, wanton destruction or close-up, personal violence. Similarly, Wii owners have validated claims that they’re obese and lethargic, with false hope that playing waggly videogames is going to make them thinner. The fact that the Wii is still shifting so many units is probably because their owners keep eating them.
PC games aren’t listed by NPD because PC gaming is dying, and nobody cares about PC gamers.

Wish they tracked XBLA and PSN data.
BF 1943 just broke 70 000 000 kills on 360 and 30 000 000 kills on PS.

I believe that’s because Xbox 360 gamers are tough as nails, while sissy PS3 gamers prefer things like Flower(s)

Microsoft only has a 6 month plan, because that’s how long the consoles last before RRoD’ing.

Not only would it let you see through their clothes but it would detect the hot chicks for you, so you wouldn’t have to waste time on the the ‘chicks’ whose clothes you can’t see through.
Oh, and it would save you from those “sorry eyes” moments.
Jeez, you’re shallow. :pirate:

6 month plan with a 3 year warranty at least. YLOD is a common occurrence thanks to senseless firmware updates on the PS3 FYI.

360 owners were starved of good games this year until protoype came along ,obviously it will outsell infamous by a mile , bearing in mind the 360 install base in America is double that of the ps3 .

hey look, the failbox 360 actually has a decent game. but its multiplat so that sucks rather just get it on pc and play at true high res. sucks to be a 360 owner, really battling to find anything going for it at the moment. might as well sell it and buy a few ps3 games with the money. problem is finding a sucker willing to buy it from me
