Some big news coming out of the UK this evening.
It seems that the latest press release from Sony EU has included some much sought after release dates.
Killzone 2 and LittleBigPlanet are now both planned for an September release while Resistance 2 is coming in November.
So Resistance 2 is going to be going toe to toe with Gears of War 2…. that should be a very interesting battle.
LittleBigPlanet is hopefully going to blow us all away and I expect Killzone 2 to be an utter disaster. Nearly two years late, caught using false footage on countless occasions and with millions of dollars poured into it.
Killzone 2 will follow in the abject failure of its predecessor and hopefully not be resurrected for a third outing.

Resistance 2 vs. Gears 2 would be interesting. The first iteration of these games were also released at the same time.
Watching the Gears 2 Unreal tech demo, there are some DX10.1 features and Ageia physics features thats going to be implemented in Gears 2. All the better, all the more interesting 😉

I think the main battle will be in the multiplayer front. R:FOM had perfect servers for PS3 but not so much diversity but GeOW was amazing in all respects!
