Left 4 Dead

I think we are all aware that the Xbox 360 line up for this year is still missing some un-announced exclusives.

Well one of them was revealed today. Left 4 Dead, the highly anticipated PC title, has now been revealed as a Xbox 360 title as well.

Currently, according to OXM, the 360 title still doesn’t look as good as the PC title but Valve has promised it will. The 360 port is being handled by a new company called Certain Affinity which was created by the person responsible for the Halo2 and 3 online segment, Max Hoberman.

There is a lot of importance being placed on the 4 v 4 and co-op gameplay modes of Left 4 Dead and with such a qualified person on board I can’t help but anticipate an awesome multi-player experience.

Rumours are that it will also be announced for PS3 at some point.

    Rofl@ the envious fanboy

Funny the release states categorically “but there will be no PS3 edition”, The game is built on the source engine which sucks on PS3, by the guys that released Orange box which tanked on PS3 and is being ported by ex Halo engineers, for a company that hates the PS3…

Keep dreaming, you never know, even with catapults pigs may fly . . .

Just like Etneral Sonata ‘Only on Xbox 360’? What if EA do the port again? Anyway, just like TF2, the PC will be the place to play this on.

Eternal Sonata was never branded “only on 360”, by comparison BioShock was.
