I lost my credit card! NOOOOOOOOO!

It’s that time of the year again. The time for gaudy decorations, fruit cake that is harder than reinforced concrete and gifts under the tree that are bound to disappoint. Yes, I’m still bitter about the fact that I literally got a bar of soap for Christmas. Still, if there’s a gamer or two in your life, then now is the time to grab a gift early on the latest Steam sale, and squirrel that away. Here’s what has the charts on fire.

This year’s Fall Sale is now called the Exploration Sale, and it’ll run from November 26 until December 2. So what’s on sale? Right now, you can nab games such as Watch Dogs for 50% less, Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth for $34.99 and Goat Simulator for $4.99. That includes the freaky new MMO addition to that weird-ass game.

The rather sublime and hilarious RPG South Park: The Stick of Truth is now also sitting pretty at a price of $23.99, while indie hits such as The Stanley Parable, FTL: Faster Than Light and Battleblock Theater won’t even cost you more than $5 each. Not bad. Of course, there’s a ton more, with over 5000 games being discounted, and more to come each and every day. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for Flash sales. Here’s the full list of games available for cheap.

I bet you’re happy to have that 13th cheque right now, am I right? Meanwhile, I’ll be bypassing the Explorer Sale completely, thanks to my recent purchase of an expensive new toy that has obliterated my credit card. Ha! I’m a genius!

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
