I saw your tweet last night, about late night Nürburgring being creepy. How far are you to Level 20 (and onto the car damage phase)? I’m still stuck on 10, didn’t get much gaming done this weekend.

    🙁

Red Golf? haha, that’s a Lancia Delta Integrale mate. TBF it does look very similar to a Mk2 Golf

That pic of it in the post is extremely realistic looking. The Nurburgring night pics look nice as well.

Me too! I’m really really enjoying the game. The special events gives you lotsa money and XP! Level 13 so far and bought my M5 and C63. AWESOME!

As in GT4, make sure you change the oil of each car BEFORE you take it to the track for the first time (even new cars). The car will get +10HP

Ja, all those critics got too used to the arcady stuff I think.

There is no other game that feels better than GT5. The only other game feeling this real is GT4. I played forza yesterday at my buddies house. Looks very nice as well, but the cars handle very very similar to each other

Lol, not nearly! Have a friend that played GT4 to death. I’m just captivated by the depth of the game currently.

I don’t have a Eye so haven’t tried out the headtrackink, sorry!

Dont worry about the reviewers. They are starting to look like idiots because Kaz has left certain stuff in the game that is only unlocked as you progress through it. Like full damage etc.

The reviewers obviously only played like for a couple of minutes or hours and thought they could slap a proper review together. From the looks of things any reviewer should rather play the game till level 40 before writing rubbish.

    Damage Levels in GT Mode
    Levels 0 – 9: No damage
Levels 10 – 19: Structural damage present; seems to be cosmetic, no effect on performance.
Levels 20 – 39: Structural damage, affects performance, requires repair.

Note this is just personal observations i might be incorrect on levels 0-9

They are, when you click on them they fit to your monitor size, but they can be enlarged further by hitting the fullscreen button, or even just save them. They should all be 1920 x 1080

@Bobby have you been able to complete the top gear intermediate challenge? i struggled for quite a while, i had no idea how weird a lotus Elise handles its like the front two wheels of the car are made with sponges and the car LOVES to go sideways!

@Lans Hell dude, that challenge has been kicking my ass! They want you to get ahead of all those cars in two laps and the car just wants to spin constantly, was making my want to tear my hair out the other day :pinch:

it was worse than the first challenge with the vw bus where i was crying because the cars acceleration was comical!

It pretty insane but you just have to keep your car DEAD straight, brake at the right time for the right amount of time and then turn your car i did not apply any acceleration in the corners, however it is a miracle i got bronze as GAMBON(i mean the long straight that curves a bit) is completely not possible with that car setup i think i was drifting for about a full 1km!
