Metal-Gear-Survivor

SURVIVE! I’ve got a good feeling about Metal Gear Survive, a game which I think will be rolling in 7.5s after launch as life without that fella whose name rhymes with Cheerio Angina begins for Konami and their tactical espionage series. My main concerns? My usual digs at Japanese game development that manifest in needlessly complex menus which slow down the action, a middling grind towards the conclusion and a story that reads like the ramblings of a mad hobo who was formerly employed to write magazines about up and coming YouTubers.

Wait, scratch that last part. I actually like that idea. Anyway, with an engine that harkens back to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Menace, you’d expect Metal Gear Survive to not be too taxing on your PC. You’d also be right and I wish I could harness that ability of not being wrong for when I buy Powerball tickets.

Here’s what you’ll need to make certain that your PC can…SURVIVE.

Modest stuff, especially when you remember how the Fox engine was actually pretty decently optimised on PC. Remember, you’ll also need to be plugged into the net for Metal Gear Survive as it happens to require a constant tether to the web. Metal Gear Survive is out on February 20, as it sneaks onto PS4 and Xbox One as well.
