Metro will be taking the Russian post-apocalyptic epic into a bigger and badder place than ever before. As showed off on Xbox’s E3 2018 stage, the game now takes place predominantly in a non-irradiated outdoor environment. New environments involve shark infested waterways, and trains that are totally not related to Snowpiercer. Considering all the gameplay in the trailer below takes place in one level, it looks like the game may feature a day/night cycle and radioactive dynamic weather. Also new to the franchise is on-the-fly weapon customisation.
Metro Exodus will leave the station on 22 February 2019, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The atmosphere still looks brilliant in this game. Definitely up there with my most anticipated titles. But 2019 is so far away!
