Microsoft sued over Xbox Live downtime… only in America

Only in America could three intellectually disadvantaged individuals sue someone for damages which are probably about a million times more than they apparently suffered.

Xbox Live in the US costs I think around $60 per annum. The Xbox Live service was pretty much broken for around 10 days during the peak holiday season. So what do the three Texans decided to do? Sue Microsoft for over $5 million..

I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that they are suing, the idiotic amount they are asking for or the fact that an educated lawyer is actually pushing this case?

I wasn’t going to write about it as stupidity annoys me however Naudran sent me a link to a CAD comic about the whole affair which sums up my feelings quite well. The comic is to large to fit on my page here so follow the link below….
