New Gears of War 2 Content – Yup, It’s Blocked.

Yesterday saw the release of two bits of long-awaited Gears of War 2 Downloadable content. First and Foremost is Dark Corners – which features the first single player DLC as well as a collection of 7 multiplayer maps. Released concurrently was the All Fronts Collection which as the name implies is a collection of every single Gears 2 map released to date. Good news, right?

Not for South African Gears fans it isn’t – once again we’ve been deemed unfit to receive them, thanks in part to Germany’s draconian videogame laws. The content had been freely accessible for a time yesterday, so if you managed to grab it then, consider yourself lucky. For the rest of you, it’s time to hook up those VPN’s.
