The most exciting hardware release this year is undoubtedly the Nintendo 3DS which is currently being manufactured and we can expect to see it hitting shelves in around April this year.
And now Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, has come out and revealed that they are planning on having 4 million units to ship for launch and that 1.5 million of those are already dedicated to Japan.
Which means the rest of the world is going to have to share the other 2.5 million which in my opinion is just not enough units.
I am predicting that the 3DS is going to fly off shelves as soon as it lands and be a massive success in most parts of the world, so if you want to get your hands on one I would strongly recommend placing a pre-order at your favourite gaming retailer and then sitting tight until it arrives.
