Charizard X

You thought the original Charizard Mega-Evolution was badass in a recent Pokémon X and Y announcement? Well guess what? THAT’S NOT EVEN MY FINAL FORM!

I’ve got to hand it to GameFreak, because they know how to ring every single possible dollar from their franchise. Charizard is getting not one, but two mega-evolutions, depending on which Pokémon game you buy this month.

Pokémon X gets you Mega Charizard X, Pokémon Y gets you Mega Charizard Y and Nintendo gets to swim in a ocean of cash. So what’s the big difference in Charizards? Well, a dose of Charizardite X grants your pokemon the ability to power up into a black-skinned nightmare lizard that puffs blue flames and become a Fire-Dragon type. It also gains an attack boost, and the Tough Claws ability which is essentially a Poké-klap buff.

Mega Charizard Y on the other hand, gets a special attack boost when exposed to Charizardite Y and it gains the ability of Drought, which powers up fire type moves even more. By now, I’m expecting anyone who has read this and doesn’t happen to be a Pokémon fan to be rolling their eyes out of their heads right now.

As for the rest of you, you’re seriously considering buying both versions of the game, aren’t you?

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
