PS3 breaks 12 million – 5 months ahead of 360

Nico brings in the cash

So GTA IV has done the blatantly obvious and caused a huge surge in hardware sales, especially for the PS3 in Europe.

It has now pushed the total PS3 sales over 12 million, a mark which it has reached 5 months quicker than the 360 took.

While Microsoft are busy boasting that GTA IV on the 360 is outselling the PS3 version 3:1 in the States, I can’t wait to actually see the real stats to see who will win this round..

I think it’s going to be close over all with the 360 taking the US easily and putting up a fight but losing in Europe… Japan is PS3 territory.

Hardly surprised. I called it – PS3 will come into shape in 2008 due to superior titles. Also, I believe that in the long run, the PS3 will outsell the 360.

MS are just handed it to Sony… they better do something about the stock shortages. There’s a BT Games in Durban that hasn’t had stock of the 360 for a month now 👿 🙁 😮 😡 🙁 😥

Don’t waist your time with them unless you are trading games or buying secondhand. There’s a limit too which customer service sucks 👿 😡

Sometimes, sometimes not… Depending on which sales person you deal with. They are up to date on latest games etc, they seem to be slightly overpriced lately, especially compared to
Zaps and AWX and with their pre played games. I mean 459 for a pre played and old PS3 game? Zaps and AWX sell for 350 tops
