Put your dragons away and cover up folks, because here’s one rumour that might just make your Friday that little bit more awesome.
According to sources at IGN, Telltale will be adapting the George R.R Martin created tale for the even smaller screen. Whether Telltale will be getting some floppy wiener inspiration from the popular HBO series or the actual A Song of Fire and Ice books is unclear at this point.
A while back, Telltale co-founder Dan Connors mentioned that the studio had gotten their hands on a dream property to create games around. And judging by the fact that Telltale Games has been working some licensed magic over the last couple of years, this doesn’t sound too far-fetched.
You won’t hear them admitting that they’re working on such a game yet though, as Telltale Senior VP of Publishing Steve Allison said that “We get these sorts of rumors about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time. Officially we have no comment.”
Game of Thrones has been adapted into several other games recently. But it could be time for the show to get turned into a good game for once.
