Sarcastic Gamer Boycotts Battlefield: Bad Company

Now EA must have known that there was going to be a lot of anger over their decision to sell extra weapons to Battlefield users and you really have to wonder if this was really a good business decision.

I for one am overly excited about this game but I highly doubt I will be buying any extra weapons or anything else for that matter. I have no problem paying for extra content or maps but I balk at paying for weapons or vehicles.

Will I boycott the game though? Hell no, this is my next big fix….

Will boycott this because i think its dumb that you only want to release half the game at full price and then you have to pay extra for the rest of the game.
    Pure Nonsense by EA.

I wouldn’t boycott it, then you’re only punishing yourself 😉 I will however boycott the DLC.

Or wait for the inevitable glitch that unlocks them all 😉

See for me its like this.
Would you pay full price for a movie and then half way through have to go and pay again.
Just doesn’t make sense to me.

Something like being asked to pay nearly R400 for a demo?

Not really it’s like buying a DVD but having to buy the directors cut separately. You still get the full experience, just skipping the moreish bit.

Something similar happened with BF:Special Forces, the BF2 expansion pack (If you had SF you could get the SF weapons in the main game as well)

The answer was easy, find someone with the extra content, kill him in game and nick his kit 😉
