One of the pleasures of writing for a gaming website, is interacting with you guys, the readers. There’s some awesome chaps online, and joking while discussing hot topics is always a welcome part of my day.
It’s just a pity that we can’t spend more time together online, as we chat away the night. That’s where GameBuddies comes in.
GameBuddies is a gaming social network for gamers, websites and businesses, where they can meet up and shoot the breeze with regards to gaming, without the distractions of other topics.
Keep up with friends, post pictures and videos, discuss games and so on, it’s all there on the site, which is currently in its open beta phase. There’ll be relevant content posted as well, from gaming sites across the web, as well as new trailers making their way across into the GameShare page.
GameBuddies will also have a dedicated shop, a GameMarket where members can buy or swop their titles, while an auto-matching system will steer the right buyer towards the relevant seller.
There’ll be more categories launching in the future, but for now, those listed above will form the foundation of the site. And what better way to get the ball rolling than with some prizes?
GameBuddies has locked in EA South Africa to give away quite a few prizes in their introductory competition, that includes the following goodies;
1) PC Prize Hamper
The Sims 3 Showtime EP, The Sims 3 Pets EP, The Sims 3 Hidden Springs DLC, The Sims 3 Townlife SP, The Sims 3 Master Suite SP.
Also includes: The Sims 3 PC game, A Western Digital Velociraptor 300gb Hard drive and a Gigabyte A75M-D2H Motherboard.
2) Xbox 360 Prize hamper
