So the most anticipated fighting game of the year is being released tomorrow and you now need to make the choice between picking up the 360 version or the PS3 version…
Or more than likely we are going to pick up the copy for the console we have.
But if you are one of the lucky few who can choose and the Yoda vs Darth Vader difference isn’t enough for you then take a look at this comparison video.
While we are talking about Soul Calibur lets not forget about our competition we are currently running. All you need to do is send the name of your favourite character and favourite new feature to comps@lazygamer.co.za to win a free copy of the game. For an extra entry don’t forget to attach a picture of your character.

😯 If this was a spot the difference exercise I’d be failing. I really don’t see what the big fuss is about the console wars (ok I do but…) it’s clear that the consoles can do the same thing… for now. I got an xbox cos it was cheaper and i just liked it, but the PS3 does have more power under the hood and this is likely to make a difference later on, who knows at that stage there will probably be a new breed of xbox to counter.

Very tough to discern any difference in these videos… Rest assured, Eurogamer will be along shortly to declare Xbox the winner anyway.

Maybe it’s just me eyes, but the ps3 side looks blurry while the 360 side was always way sharper.

Well Eurogamer has techniques to pick up detail not distinguishable by the human eye… which defeats the purpose realy.

To really see the difference I would recommend downloading the HD version from Gametrailers…

Theoretical power of the ps3.sony ,bending the truth and straight up lies. You see,at the age of 14 Sony told me theriotically ,that me buying a PS2 would hand me games that look like Toy Story.now, between those.what did sony tell us? Was that theoretically possible(lol,ps2? ) ,was it bending the truth? (lol) or a straight up lie? (yes, pick this one) . Yeah, the cell is really powerful.but, if thats the case, will we see games on the i phone rival the psp graphically? You see,the i phone has a powerful cpu ,and a not so powerful gpu. And the psp has a weaker cpu but a gpu capable of more than double ,compared to the i phone.

Just watched the HD version myself. And overall you don’t really see a difference, except for the last part of the movie.
When they zoom in and move the border over the character, you can see a difference. Not that big a difference though… nothing to make me want to buy one version over the other. (Except maybe for the console specific characters :))
