Star Wars Battlefront looks gorgeous in these new 4K screens

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well this article must be worth at least 23 000 of them then, because Star Wars Battlefront is looking sexy. Dead sexy even, thanks to these 4K screens from AGB. Enough banter, more gawking:

I don’t know what kind of Star Wars Battlefront game we’re going to get in the future when EA and DICE release this shooter, but I can say that the results so far are pretty damn impressive.

EA has been happy to show the game off lately, especially the development cycle which included shipping a DICEy team over to a volcano in order to get enough data to create worlds such as Sullust for the game.

Whether the team survived intact and were repurposed into killer cyborgs for the Galactic EAmpire, is a question that I’m still pursuing.

But seriously, I am genuinely impressed with the graphics so far. That wear and tear on Stormtrooper armour. The general grime of a dirtier age in the Star Wars universe as the war between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire rages on.

Blaster rifles that look, sound and apparently feel just right. Throw in a bonus mode that allows me to use characters such as Jar Jar Binks and Salacious Crumb for target practice, and the game will be a winner.

Alessandro has been raving non-stop about the game, with yesterday’s PC alpha leak doing little to actually shut him up.

Which is why I’ve installed a Carbonite freezing chamber beneath his desk in the office. That’s right, just a little closer fanboy, just a little closer…
