This is an interesting title to compare for a few reasons.
1. Both platforms have been around for over a year now
2. This game isn’t a huge technilogical leap
3. We are in a dry spot
So The Club was released into America this week which obviously means we need to check out the differences.
All in all the two games are nearly identical and if you only have a PS3 or Xbox 360 you are not going to feel short changed. The gameplay is apparently utterly addictive and the graphics are far better than we see on screenshots.
The audio is also fantastic and while it seems this is mainly a single player game the multiplayer is just as good on both platforms. However when you dig into it the platforms are not identical.
Videogamer.com has compared the game on 4 different levels with the following results.
Graphics – Xbox 360 wins (Smoother Frame Rate)
Audio – Tie (However the 360 does allow for a custom soundtrack)
Gameplay – Xbox 360 (PS3 controls feel wrong and cannot be changed)
Multiplayer – Tie (Live is better integrated but PSN is free)
