One of Bethesda’s more high-profile mobile offerings that was actually really really good, was easily Fallout Shelter. Free, easy to learn and challenging to master, it was a microcosm of Fallout’s best features all rolled into one addictive tapping game of micro-management and survival. Having learnt some valuable lessons from the success of Fallout Shelter, Bethesda is looking to expand their mobile offerings with The Elder Scrolls: Blades.
A “uniquely mobile experience” according to Bethesda’s Todd Howard, The Elder Scrolls: Blades focuses on the action of that franchise and adds in touchscreen controls for you to use while you hack and slash your way through dungeons and towns. Out later this year, The Elder Scrolls: Blades will be on as many mobile devices as technically possible, and also playable in portrait mode in case you need a free hand.
Hey, I won’t judge you.
