We have a new “gate” (read: controversy) in the console war. No longer Resolutiongate, allow me to introduce Wobblegate. That’s right, apparently the PS4 is uneven and wobbles.
You know when you sit at a table in a restaurant and it wobbles. It’s irritating, you call the waiter over and they crawl under to place beer mats under one of the legs until it’s better. Well, apparently we need to call the waiter over for the PS4. It wobbles.
That’s right, now the console war can really heat up. Sure, the PS4 may look more sleek and interesting than the Xbox One, but it’s unstable. No, this won’t destroy the functionality of the console (although your console may or may not be faulty anyway), and it probably won’t cause any damage to the inner workers, but that will still irritate me. I’m going to have to invest in an extra rubber foot for that bad boy. Or maybe post-it notes like Kotaku used:
Unfortunately, I now know what I’ll be doing when I get my PS4. That’s right, this is going to be one of the first things I test out. Who decided this was an okay design choice? Score one for Microsoft for creating a console that won’t make my OCD go mad.
