…But for mobile devices, if you ain’t afraid of no ghosts.
Yes sir, there is indeed a new mobile Ghostbusters game on the way, and Capcom is looking for some beta testers. Who ya gonna call? Apparently plenty of eager fans, as the developer looks to fill those testing spots up. To get into the beta test, you’ll need to answer a survey about age, income, education level and other weird demographics.
There’s no clue yet as to what kind of game you’ll be crossing the streams in, although the survey does ask if you’ve played games such as Clash of Clans, Puzzle & Dragons, The Simpsons: Tapped Out and Trivia Crack. So uh, guess away then. There is no Dana, there is only Zuul. This isn’t the first Ghostbusters game to hit mobile devices either. A 2012 entry had players assembling their own team of paranormal investigators and riding around New York as they slimed hostile entities and trapped some focused non-terminal repeating phantasms/class-5 full roaming vapour. Real nasty ones too!
And don’t forget, there’s actually the superb Ghostbusters video game from a few years back. Four-player co-op with proton packs? That was a winner to me a while back! There’s even a bunch of new movies on the way, including an all-female version of the Ghostbusters which will be directed by Paul Feig and can be blamed for the massive levels of ingrained corruption in our government. Because anything can be blamed on that kind of movie. Anything!
