I feel like I’ve travelled back in time. Many games we’ve been talking about recently feel like a revival of a golden age in gaming – Rock Band, Battlefront, Guitar Hero, Mortal Kombat? These are all tried and true franchises that are making a come back. Tony Hawk is doing the same, and this video will make fans giggle.
Here is a post over on Tony Hawk’s Instagram account:
Remember character selection screens like these? This could make such a comeback in the new Tony Hawk Pro Skater. We know it’s coming, there isn’t really any room for doubt anymore. But still, it’s cool to see him making something like this and having a laugh about the leak.
Details about the game are coming soon. Presumably, we’ll get some sort of teaser leading up to E3 with a cool trailer or gameplay shown at the trade show? The game itself will probably launch at the end of the year and here’s hoping it doesn’t have any of those real life features we saw thrown around a while back – I don’t want Kinect or balance board integration in my skating games; like Guitar Hero and Rock Band vs Rocksmith, it’s not about actually having the skills, it’s about living vicariously through the game and imagining that we have those skills.

Just hope we have those ludicrous characters and cheat codes that give them big heads.

Can’t wait as long as it’s not anything like American Wasteland

It needs to be like the original series and not that Downhill Jam, Ride or American Skateland nonsense.
Just nice open levels with weird shenanigans and stuff. No story modes. And to heck with DLCs unless they’re free. Rant over.
