Oooh, night time, when even the tamest people can seem like demons. Only now, they aren’t tame at all – they are el Diablo! AWX is hosting a midnight launch for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, and you can win cool stuff.

AWX in Randburg will be open tonight until midnight so that you can grab your copy. How does it work? Well, first of all, you should go over to their website and pre-order the game. Then, tonight, you can go to Randburg and collect it at the midnight launch. Don’t worry, though, it’s not just going to be a bunch of people standing in a queue. You can play dress up and win stuff.

That’s right, dress in a gothic theme, or as a Reaper, and you will automatically get goodies including limited edition merchandise, gift vouchers or a chance to win the Collector’s Edition. Sounds like such fun – I miss some of my old goth dresses, now! I knew I should have brought them with me to this country.

Remember guys, it’s really important to support events like this. Not only does this sound like a cool way to spend a Monday night, it’s also a good way to show the awesome guys from AWX that we like these events and they’re worthwhile to have. That will make it more likely that they’ll have a similar event for the launch of the next big game. South Africans often complain that we don’t get the cool launch events like they do in New York or London – so let’s show how much fun we can have at the launches we do have so that retailers and publishers can see that they are worthwhile. Besides, you can dress up like a reaper and go out in public.
