Who Wants To See A Real-Life Lap Of Gran Turismo’s Tokyo Route 246

Games are for sissies, or so Caterham thinks. The Caterham folks over in Japan decided that it would be a very nifty idea to take one of their cars and film it driving around Tokyo on the same route as Gran Turismo’s made-up street track.

Turns out that in the real world, instead of fans and safety precautions, there’s traffic. What’s actually really nifty, and I am not sure if many of you know this, but the Tokyo Route 246 track’s start/finish line is directly in front of Sony’s real Worldwide Headquarters in Tokyo.

So this is what Gran Turismo 9 will look like. Video after the jump.
