Why buy HD-DVD over Blu-Ray?

1 min read

So the Sony Protection Group is at it again… They have posted a thoroughly unbiased 🙂 article asking why people are buying HD-DVD instead of Blu-Ray…

So, to answer the question of “Why are some people still buying HD DVD?”, it’s due to consumers being misinformed and sheer ignorance.

It is quite funny that a site which has been setup to protect Sony has the audacity to call anyone ignorant.

From what I have heard the real reason why people buy HD-DVD instead of Blu-Ray would be because it is cheaper and offers a better image quality.

Now I have no idea if either of those reasons are valid but I think this war has a bit more behind it other than ignorance and misinformation.
